PR Event

We were recently invited to attend a Lego Dreamzzz Pyjama Party event at the Legoland Discovery Centre in Manchester and we had  an absolute blast!  If you're looking for a fun-filled and interactive experience for the whole family, this is definitely the place to be.

Stepping into the Dream World

From the moment we stepped inside, we were immersed in a world of LEGO magic.  It's cleverly divided into different imaginative zones, each offering a unique and exciting experience.  As we attended during a Lego Dreamzzz  event many of the activities were based around this and we were given a card with a number of different Dream Trial tasks to complete to become a Lego Night Agent.  Lego Dreamzzz is a Lego theme and TV series about young builders on a journey into an imaginative fantasy realm.   It reminded us of the Lego Worlds Xbox game that i used to spend hours playing with Charlie when he was younger, i still have this put away for Louie to play, hopefully soon.

Miniland

We started off with Miniland which features miniature models of many landmarks from across Manchester, Liverpool and Blackpool,   There's a football stadium including pitch and players that you can interact with and there's also roller coaster rides from Alton Towers that you can play with.  We had the task of finding a number of letters hidden within miniland before then working out the keyword.

Lego Ninjago City Adventure

The next area that we visited was the LEGO Ninjago City Adventure.  Here there's a temple where you can practice your ninja skills, 3 storeys of amazing soft play and a Ninjago themed build table.  The kids loved this area, especially the spiral slide and kept coming back throughout the evening.

Lego Racers

The Lego Racers build and test area was another huge hit with the boys.  Here there are lots of wheels and buckets of Lego perfect for attempting to build the strongest or fastest cars   There are then a number of different ramps and race tracks for you to put your creations to the test.

Lego Rides

There are so many attractions to enjoy at the Lego Discovery Centre Manchester including some rides, our favourite was Kingdom Quest, a ride that takes you along to battle trolls and skeletons to save the princess.  Each target you hit gives you points that are displayed in front of your seat, we loved seeing who had the best aim.  There's also a Merlin's apprentice rise where you pedal to make your car fly high.

The 4D Movie Experience

Another standout feature was the 4D cinema experience, we haven't been to one before so it was something new for us.  Upon entering we were given our glasses and shown our seats,  Lego Dreamzzz in 4D was a blast (quite literally) as the characters are zooming through the air you feel the air around you and then at other points we were sprayed with foam/water, it was great to see the characters come to life out of the screen and was like stepping right into the heart of the action.

Hands-On Fun

Throughout the evening, there were lots of opportunities for hands on Lego building.  We headed to the creator workshop to build some "ele"copters with a master Lego builder, a new creation that we could then take home with us.  We played Lego Dreamzzz themed bingo and won some new minifigures and we also met some of the Lego Dreamzzz characters.

Overall Experience

The LEGO DREAMZzz event at the Legoland Discovery Centre, Manchester was a fantastic experience that we all enjoyed.  The staff were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Overall, we had an amazing time at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester. It's a fantastic place for families with young children, offering endless opportunities for creativity, learning, and fun. We can't wait to go back and explore even more!
