This weekend we were invited to the VIP launch event for Flip Out Liverpool. It's a new adventure park located in Liverpool city centre in Clayton Square. Flip Out UK is the country's leading adventure and trampoline park operator, there are 29 parks across the UK each packed with a huge range of activities for all ages and abilities. Myself, Mark and the boys along with our niece, visited the park and had an absolute blast. Here are some highlights of our evening.
We arrived just before 5pm and were greeted by friendly staff who handed out balloons and wristbands. We then headed up the escalators towards the adventure park activities. Arriving at the top Louie was gobsmacked and full of excitement watch his reaction here on our tiktok.
There are a huge range of activities on the first floor and the 2nd floor houses the laser quest and amazing themed party rooms. We headed up here first, Mark and Charlie put their gear, grabbed their guns and headed off for a game of laser quest, being super competitive they were happy finishing 1st and 2nd place.
Next we headed down to test out the UK's first, floor is fire. It's a raised obstacle course with fire coloured foam bricks below, there are different obstacles on each side so that you can race along to see who finishes first , Charlie was a ninja on the course and raced everyone and we had some funny fails resulting in a fall into the fire.
Louie's favourite was by far the battle cannons. It's multi level soft play arena with air powered ball shooters and lots of foam balls. On the ground flood you collect the balls and sent them up through fun air pipes then on the upper level collect the balls and get loaded up to fire the balls at the light up targets around the zone or at dad who's stood in the arena below collecting the balls. The electronic screen keep count of which side of the arena has hit the most targets so you can split up and battle it out.
After about an hour we decided to take a break and have some snacks at the cafe. The boys enjoyed hot dogs while we opted for some stuffed crust pizza which was delicious. As soon as we finished we headed back to explore the remaining attractions.
Next we headed to the interactive football and the bumper cars, these were like no other that we've been on before. They look like space ships whizzing around, they're circular with a lever on each side to control them, It's so much fun spinning around in them and racing around to bump into others.
Next we went to the adventure play area which is located at the back, it looks small from the front but its much bigger when you go in, split over a number or levels with lots of slides, and obstacles. The kids loved the slides which vary in size but the tallest one is the most thrilling and we even struggled to get daredevil Louie off it. It's also home to the UK's largest ball pit.
Roller skating was a throwback, hire of the skates is included and there's a nice open space dedicated to roller skating. It's been years since any of us have roller skated and it was a first for Charlie who enjoyed giving it a go but was like Bambi taking a number of tumbles..
We spent about two hours at Flip Out Liverpool, and we had an amazing time. The park had something for everyone, there was a great atmosphere with everyone laughing and enjoying themselves. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
Flip Out UK is a great place to spend some time with the kids having fun that even the adults can join in with. All of the attractions are included in the cost of the reasonably priced wristbands. We would highly recommend Flip Out UK to anyone who is looking for a fun and exciting adventure and will be visiting again soon.
