Calling all rugby players! Here at the Cooke household, we live and breathe all things oval ball. Charlie recently decided that he wanted a new headguard, something more than just the generic kit. That's when we discovered Impact Rugby, the UK's only bespoke headguard manufacturer.
Today, we're taking you through the exciting world of designing your very own personalised headguard. Forget boring, plain headgear, with Impact Rugby UK, you can unleash your inner artist and create a headguard that reflects your unique personality (or your team's spirit!).
Step 1: Picking Your Design
First things first, head to the Impact Rugby UK website and select the headgear designer. Then you need to choose your base design, you will find that there are around 16 template designs to choose from but if you have something more bespoke in mind you can contact them directly.
Step 2: Unleash Your Creativity!
This is where the fun really begins! Impact Rugby UK's online designer tool allows you to customise your headguard with a range of options. Choose from a variety of designs, colours, logos, and even your own custom text.
Here's how we personalised Charlie's headguard:
Design:: Charlie has always chosen a tribal pattern for his rugby gear so he decided to stay with this theme for his headguard,
Colour Scheme:: Charlie plays rugby league and rugby union so he decided to go with a colour from each of his teams to create something unique. A bold combination of Green and Maroon. He finished it off by adding Maroon, lace and trim and then chose to have the Impact logo in white on the front.
Personalisation: To stand out from the crowd Charlie decided to add his nickname, Cookey, to his headguard. This is printed into the design during the manufacturing process so wont peel off like some other personalisations do with vinyl.
