Kids eat free or for £1 offers during the summer holidays 2023

Summer holidays are here which for most of us means finding plenty to do to keep the kids entertained.  Eating out is a great way to spend time as a family but with rising costs this can sometimes be challenge.  We've tried to make it easier by putting together this guide with the best kids eat free or discounted meals to help give you some inspiration this summer. Make sure that you check T's & C's before your visit.

Asda's Cafés - Kids eat for £1

Children can eat for £1 at any time of day in Asda Cafés, seven days a week, with no minimum adult spend required. Choose a hot meal from penne pasta with meatballs or a vegan hidden veg pasta meal either with chips or a salad or peas plus a piece of fruit or a cold pick and mix selection that includes a sandwich, drink and piece of fruit.

Asda cafe will also give a free Ella’s Kitchen baby food pouch for babies under 18 months with any purchase

Dobbies Garden Centres - Kids eat free

Kids can enjoy a free meal from the kids' lunch menu or a pick ‘n’ mix meal, plus a drink, in the Dobbies Garden Centre café, with each adult main meal purchased. The offer runs daily from 12 noon.

English Heritage - Members' kids eat free

From 1 July to 31 August 2023, any English Heritage Member spending £10 or more in an English Heritage café will receive up to two free children's lunch bags, including a drink, sandwich, crisps, fruit and cake.

Hungry Horse pubs - Kids eat for £1

Every Monday, children can eat for £1 at Hungry Horse pubs. There are a variety of meals on offer including fish fingers, pasta and sausages as well as a variety of vegetarian and vegan options.  There are also a range of larger children meals available for the slightly higher price of £1.50.

Marks & Spencers - Kids eat free 

Kids eat free when you spend just £5 in the M&S Cafe between 24th July until 1st September 2023 in England and Wales,

Your little ones can enjoy a main, a snack and a drink from the Kids’ Munch Menu.  The deal is available every weekday with hot and cold options on offer including cheesy tomato pasta, jacket potato with sausage and beans, and pancakes with blueberries.  This summer the Colin the Caterpillar and Percy Pig slushies are also included in the meal deal.

Morrisons Café - Kids eat for free

Children under 16 can eat for free at any Morrisons café when an adult spends £4.99 or more on a meal. The kid's meal includes piece of fruit and a Tropicana Orange or Apple juice or bottle of water.

Morrisons Cafe also have "ask for Ellen" running from 17th July to 13th August, where if you "ask for Ellen" you will be give a portion of 2 crumpets with butter and jam completely free, this is available to everyone, all day ,every day, no questions asked.

Sainsbury's - Kids eat free

Sainsbury's cafe is offering a free kids hot meal or kids lunch bag with the purchase of any adult hot main meal from £5.20 in all of its cafes, during the summer school holidays. The offer is valid everyday from 11:30 until close.

Tesco - Kids eat free 

Tesco cafe will be offering one free Kids Hot Meal Deal, Kids Breakfast or Kids Pick ‘n’ Mix deal with any adult purchase. Offer valid across the UK from Mondays to Fridays only.
